Peer influence on delinquent and non-delinquent decision making

The effects of socio-emotional factors on decision making were examined in this study. Activation of perception of peers' expectations leads to more conservative decisions. Delinquents' decisions were riskier in the presence of peers, while nondelinquents in this situation made even more conservative decisions. Relevance for future research will be discussed.
