Easier entering the literacy world: The speech and language pathologist's view
The goal of our investigation was to determine the contribution of phoneme awareness and letter naming in preschool period to beginning of reading. The results of tasks applied on 60 children shows that gaining the phoneme awareness is in interaction with the letter naming. These activities are mutually encouraged and significantly determine beginning of reading.
