On the relationship between scientific and theological aspects of the work of Roger Joseph Boscovich

In this paper, an overview of philosophical and theological heritage of Roger Joseph Boscovich in the framework of his impressive scientific work is given. Also, a brief overview of Boscovich's biography and his historical and philosophical background is outlined. A particular emphasis is focused on philosophical aspects of his scientific work that had influenced his theological preferences. It is shown that Boscovich established a connection between science, philosophy and theology in a consistent imaginative universe.
