The paper revolves around the culture of family production and consumption of wine as a symbol of personal and family identities that is based on the research conducted in Zagreb County. The culture of family production and consumption of wine is pondered in terms of tourism development, particulary its new shapes such as tourism resting on traditional heritage and legacy. In this respect, the gastrospeak system developed by tourism experts analyses the Zagreb County Toursit Board website, and by use of terroire concept and interviews taken in the field, it demonstrates that the culture of family production of wine can also be appraised as the symbol of local ans regional identities.
