Impact of 5-azacytidine on Oct4 and Nanog DNA methylation/expression in experimental mouse teratocarcinoma
On experimental mouse teratocarcinoma (grown under the kidney capsule) the analysis of DNA methylation by pyrosequencing method and qPCR for pluripotency genes Oct4 and Nanog has been done. 5-azaC significantly reduced their expression while not affecting their methylation status.
