Pseudocholinesterase as an additive marker of the risk of atherosclerosisi and possible indicator of the degree of insulin resistance in metabolic syndrome

Our results suggest a possible association of PchE activity with the components of metabolic syndrome connected with cardiovascular disease development. We have found a significant correlation between PChE/HDL cholesterol ratio as a complementary risk factor and widely used index total cholesterol/HDL cholesterol.

pseudocholinesterase; additive marker
