Morfosintaktička obilježja, gramatičko i obavijesno ustrojstvo najstarijih hrvatskih glagoljičnih epigrafskih spomenika (XI.-XV. st.)
The paper discusses morphosyntactic features (the frequency of morphosyntactic categories and use of representative forms) and grammatical and information structure of the Croatian Glagolitic inscriptions from the period between the 11th and the end of the 15th century. These are mostly very short, but precious sources when it comes to research on Old Croatian, and they provide us with the uses of spontaneous and less spontaneous utterances in certain communication situations. The examples of use were repeated and confirmed by the writers in their Glagolitic texts from the earliest records in Croatian covering area broader than any local dialect. Philological and linguistic research of the sources, especially the recognition of stylistically (un)marked utterances, became possible after the publication of Fučić’s book in which he documented and interpreted the earliest Croatian epigraphic Glagolitic texts (Glagoljski natpisi, Djela JAZU 57, Zagreb 1982.).
