Usage of the Internet for looking for a job in European Countries: Multiple regression and cluster analysis
In this paper data exploration based on descriptive, cluster and correlation analysis of dependent variable, percentage of individuals using the Internet for looking for a job, and six independent variables (data as averages for 2004- 2008), for 30 European countries was done. In regression analysis as the most appropriate, the multiple linear regression model with two regressors (percentage of households with Internet access ; and GDPpc in PPS, EU-27=100) was found to be the most appropriate. Both regressors found to be statistically significant. No model assumptions violations are found.
