Marketing Design of Health Tourism Destination Identity
In order to establish the basis for creation of marketing identity of health tourism destination, the paper will first determine what is to be understood by the term health tourism destination. It will be established which features a tourist destination must have to be considered a health tourism destination as well, i.e. what is the critical level of health care components in a tourist product that makes a certain destination a health tourism destination. Next, factors of marketing identity design are determined for different areas. The synthesis of obtained results would reveal the procedures necessary for creating the marketing identity of a health tourism destination. Potential health tourism destinations in Croatia would then have adequate marketing instruments for creating their identity based on a certain level of health care services.
