Teacher education curriculum for sustainable development

The preparation of teachers for professional life in the European Union is based on the development of a new "European teacher" training model, where teachers are perceived as promoters and ambassadors of the new sustainable development views. Within that context, the curriculum of teacher education should be redefined and redesigned. This paper presents the results of an empirical research of students' attitudes towards education for SD (the level of democracy present in the relations, the curriculum, insights into SD), conducted on a sample of students of teacher education studies attending two Croatian universities
