PRO-ecological materials composite boards from thermoplastic wastes and lignocellulose particles
Static bending strength, modulus of elasticity at static bending as well as swelling and absorbability of composite boards from waste polyethylene or polystyrene and wood chips or from comminuted boards, waste cardboard or paper laminates were investigated. Composites containing thermoplastic products and wood chips were manufactured using the alternate-laminar method. The obtained results confirm the possibility of utilisation of waste thermoplasts and ligno-cellulose materials containing thermoplasts in the course of manufacturing processes of board products.
