Who are wellness customers? An empirical study in the Croatian hotel industry
The purpose of this study is to identify the main characteristics of wellness customers in hotel wellness settings. The particular aims of the study are to: (a) examine the demographic characteristics of wellness customers, (b) establish their travel patterns and habits concerning a healthy way of life, (c) identify the frequency of experiencing particular wellness services, (d) determine wellness customers’ expectations and perceptions regarding service quality in hotel wellness settings, (e) identify factors that best explain wellness customers’ expectations and perceptions, and (f) test the reliability of the modified SERVQUAL instrument in the context of wellness tourism.
