Mathematical Modelling And Minimization Of Deep Drawing Force With Thickness Reduction

The mathematical modelling of deep drawing force with wall thickness reduction is performed by applying the upper bound method. Basic parameters of modelling are: deformation degree, tool working zone geometry, plastic flow angle and contact friction. The purpose of drawing force modelling is minimization of tool loading with the aim of increasing tool life and productivity of the machining system. By applaying minimization of deep drawing force tool life may be increased by more than 40%, which is the main aim of this paper.
