Self-Evaluation of Pre-School Teacher Competences – Check Lists for Self-Evaluation
Contemporary institutions for early childhood and pre-school age education need highly competent educators in all areas of their professional activity (towards children, parents, practice etc.) Those educators who are conscious of the importance of self-evaluation and have acquired self-evaluation skills, do so continuingly in all segments of their personal and professional activity with the aim of improving those aspects with which they are not satisfied.Together with theoretical explanations, a checklist for the self-evaluation of general as well as specific aspects of pedagogical educator competences in institutions of early and pre-school age education is offered in this paper.
