IMPORTANCE OF COUNTRY OF ORIGIN IN PROMOTION OF TOURISM DESTINATION
The main aim of this paper was to determine the influence that country of origin plays in promotion of tourism destination. Data was collected from July, through September 2010. Influence of country of origin on various variables important in promotion of tourism destination was tested using chi square test and one way ANOVA. Significant differences among various countries were found from the aspect of sample characteristics, traveling composition, sources of information and different services used during their stay. The results suggest that country of origin is a very important variable in promotion of tourism destination.
