Numerical simulations of S-rail forming for 6111-T4 sheet based on Hill stress function
In this paper associated and non-associated plasticity formualtions based on simple quadratic Hill stress function are investigated. Analyzed formulations are evaluated in predicting S-rail forming process for sheet sample of aluminium alloy 6111-T4. The obtained results show that the analyzed formulations result in almost identical predicitons of elastic springback and punch force.
