Problem questions of physics and chemistry of the concentration of radionuclides in the slag charging materials smelting ferrosilicon

The effective specific activity of Ra-226, Th-232 and К-40 radionuclides in charging materials and casting products of FS65 ferrosilicon was defined, the results were summarized ; radiation and heath safety estimation of ferrosilicon slimes was presented in accordance with radiation safety standards ; the method of defining slag multiplicity as well as managing certain technological parameters of ferrosilicon casting using the data on radionuclides’ effective activity were presented.
