Bringing together the following trends and technologies: cloud computing, advanced analytics, client computing, green business, reshaping data centers, social computing, virtualization of resources, and mobile communications and applications - the Smart Automated Platform (SmAP) platform opens up new opportunities for economic development in industry, transport and energy sectors. This paper describes the technical and business opportunities of the SmAP advanced platform.
