Cultural Networks and Imagined Regionalism
South East European regionalism is discussed as an imaginary notion in the global context and as a framework for definition of specific cultural spaces. The presence and role of cultural networks in the region is analyzed to show that they have a strong impact on cultural development and cultural communication. Being a rather recent phenomenon, networking sustains cultural communication and cooperation in the region and contributes to the restructuring of the existing South East European cultural spaces.
