Formation of the Earth
Origin of the Earth, as space body, is connected to the origin of the Solar system. Basic ideas and data about early history, when Solar system was formed, could be collected today through investigation of different Space bodies, particulary those ones reaching the Earth, i.e. Earth's surface. Such bodies are called meteorites and their size is in wide range from microscopical dust up to hundreds of tons. Composition of these bodies is also variable. Chemical composition is in the range what can be found also on the Earth. Although falling of such space bodies happened from early Earth history, much before mankind it is recognized that these bodies originated from the Space just a couple of centuries ago. Except of that, a variety of new data is collected with many spacecrafts and different astronomical instruments of new generation. Such data is collected just for few decades. nevertheless, volume of data collected by interplanetary spacecrafts and modern space telescopes in the Earth's orbit is enormous and very valuable. At the beginning of investigation people consider that meteorites are exceptional event and believed that it is not natural. Today we know many scientific facts about meteorites and other space bodies. Small space bodies formed planets and gravity of bigger bodies attract smaller bodies to fall down. After bigger bodies are formed they have their own evolution.
