Prerequisites for Successful Project Management

Some studies have expressed that good project communication is a significant factor in project succes. For such a purpose it is necessary to establish a correlation between communication levels and project complexity. The goal of the paper is to point out project communication management subsystem elements and performances, and to stress the necessity of selecting adequate ways of communication that helps in reaching project goal. For the purpose of reviewing present software adequacy, the authors compare software packages for communication support for distributed project teams, determine their location in running complex projects, and propose a direction of development for such software in providing better support for project management.
