Women in economic decision-making in Croatia
In Croatia, despite increasing concerns about gender equality, there is the persistent under-representation of women in key decision-making bodies, from the Parliament to corporate boardrooms. This paper focuses on the key areas of economic decision-making. Its aim is to deepen our understanding of the position of women in economic decision-making in Croatia, to increase the need to do more to achieve gender equality and diversity, and to discuss transferability issues linked to the possibility of implementing a good practice from Norway, Denmark and the United Kingdom. Policy recommendations are also suggested.
