Managing construction projects through 5D software application: GALA 2012

While the construction industry has always been project oriented, limited attention has been given to project management software (PMS). Therefore we developed GALA ; PMS which integrates 3D design with budget and thus provides an integrated 4D project management tool for construction. The application is well accepted within practice and is used by companies dealing with building construction, civil engineering and final works in construction. Even though GALA has been validated in practice, further development is needed, especially in moving on to the enterprise level and connecting 3D with schedule.
