The Evil Worlds of William Blake
Though unfrequently accused of advocating evil, as an absolute category, William Blake was actually keen "only" on affirming those aspects of being that, in Western culture, had unjustly been rejected as involved with the body, passions and deep-set desires. Blakes's opus, from his early poems to the last prophecies, is here presented as life-long dedication to winning the whole of man.
