Experimental Analysis and Mathematical Modelling of Rolling Force

This paper deals with experimental determination, mathematical modelling, analytical calculation and verification of the rolling force. The results of performed research indicate that mathematical-experimental modelling can be successfully used to define the rolling force and technological parameters of the rolling process. In this paper a mathematical model of the rolling force F = f (Δh, ε, δ, k) has been developed. Main achievements are: original experimental identification of the rolling force, original measuring sensor for rolling force measurement and a mathematical model for defining the rolling force.
