Development of the Speaking Skills: Speaking Strategies and Language Anxiety
The study was undertaken to determine whether the Project of early foreign language learning conducted in several primary schools in Zagreb showed better results in developing speaking skills and strategies than regular foreign language learning. The sample consisted of two groups, the Project group and the control group. In total, there were 101 participants in this study. The methods used were a written questionnaire and a verbal report. Results obtained by the questionnaire were added to those obtained by the verbal report. According to these results we might say that the differences are not so great as might be expected.
