Casual modeling in mathematical education
In the paper, authors have defined mathematical knowledge for kindergarten children. The basic objective was to measure the mathematical knowledge, skills and abilities in kindergarten education. Fundamental mathematical concepts were divided in three basic mathematical areas: arithmetic, geometry and data. Afterwards, authors determined a statistical set and measured characteristics. With statistical set with variables, authors made the causal model for mathematical competencies. Through causal model, authors point out the importance of causality of mathematical knowledge in mathematical education.
