The Transformations in Coaching
Coaching is an evolving dynamic approach in leadership development literature. The essential point of coaching process, regardless of the used numerous methods and approaches, is in the transformational power of change. In order for change to be effective the paper proposes the model by which one could explain the cycle of effective transformational change in the process of coaching. In each of the act1-learn1-act2-learn2-act3 phase of the transformations within the coaching process both the coach and coachee have a specific role. Limitations of the model are in using both theoretical and practical first-hand experience as the coach and proposing an example of the average coaching process which might be questionable construct per se. Further research will be directed toward testing of the proposed model by empirical research and case-study methods.
