Analysis of The Bearing Set Influence at The Vibrational Behavior of The Grinding Spindles
Modern grinding spindles are increasingly dynamically loaded and due to constant growth of accuracy and surface quality demands, they have to be more rigid. Because of that, it is important to make an optimal selection of the type and configurations of a bearing set. There are special requirements on balancing all rotational parts not only before the assembly but also during the drive and process phase. This work analyzes the effects of balancing and bearing set configuration on the vibrational behavior of the grinding spindles. Great amount of attention is dedicated to the temperature stability because of higher accuracy, grinding quality and the lifetime of the grinding spindle. This work presents calculations and measurements on the grinding spindle with the different type of bearing set configurations.
