Humanistic-developmental vs. Behaviouristic Curricullum of Early and Preschool Education
While behaviouristic curriculum is established in isolated facilities teaching children transferring knowledge, humanistic- developmentally curriculum of early and preschool education is based on the child, its needs, rights and learning in the domain of his interests with the knowledge that are co-constructed. In this regard, the work continues to face some of the dimensions of humanistic- developmentally and behaviouristic oriented curriculum such as philosophy of the curriculum, the properties of traditional and modern organized institutional context, social interaction, and the role of teachers, learning methods, cooperation with parents and other dimensions and their effect on children's behaviour and learning. Finally, it advocates humanistic-developmental curriculum that seeks for human values and the co-creation of knowledge-that is, the emancipation of children and teachers.
