Efficiency of plough and disk harrow at winter wheat stubble field tillage

Comparative investigation of plough and disk harrow efficiency at winter wheat stubble field tillage was carried out on production field of the farm Feričanci in central Slavonia. A disk harrow application at winter wheat stubble field tillage is more accetable than that of a plough if we compare effects, fuel consumptions and specific labour consumption. Incorporation of plant residues is significantly more even by plough than by a disk harrow which affected numerousness and covering of weed species. Considerably higher numerousness of Chenopodium album individuals was determined by plough cultivation than in tillage variant by disk harrow when present species of Echinochloa crus galli were more abundant and Chenopodium polyspermun.
