Analysis of pharmacology curricula in Croatian medical schools

The content of Pharmacology curricula for the academic year 2000/2001 have been collected from individual Medical Schools in Croatia and analysed by using method developed by a Committee of essential knowledge base in Pharmacology, Association for Medical School Pharmacology, USA (URL adress: http: farmr4.uth.tmc.edu/druglist/, network distribution by G.C. Rosenfeld, Department of Pharmacology, University of Texas Medical School, Huston, Texas, USA, 1993). Medical Pharmacology curricula in Croatia are recorded along two dimensions: 1) number of subjects covered and 2) time allocated to individual subject as a fraction (%) of total teaching hours. The "average" Pharmacology curriculum in Croatian Medical Schools (as a mean % total teaching hours of all courses) has been designed and results presented below.
