Should teachers correct students' oral errors?
The practice of oral correction continues to receive wide acceptance in language classrooms. There are many challenges and complexities involved in providing effective feedback for foreign language learners. The study examines the students' opinion about correcting errors in learners' oral Business English as a foreign language. What is needed is continued systematic and rigorous research to investigate whether different types of feedback are more effective than others and to what extent this may be dependent on the instructional contexts and the characteristics of learners within them.
