Application Ratione Temporis of the European Human Rights Convention with regard to Croatia

The paper explores the ratione temporis application of the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. Although the Convention does not apply to human rights breaches that had occurred before the Convention came into force, The Court has changed its case-law in order to find a way to address some human rights abuses that had occurred before the Convention entered into force.
