Finding Seebeck coefficient and conductivity in lattice-gases using simple Monte Carlo simulations.

We demonstrate the new method for the calculation of electric transport properties of heavy charge carriers, using the combination of Monte Carlo simulations for the lattice-gas system, and the modified linear response formula. The formation of electronic crystals reflects in semiconductor-like behavior of transport coefficients. Both temperature and doping dependence of transport is shown for several cases, and discussed in physical terms, and compared to analytic solutions where the latter are tractable.
