Internal bremsstrahlung in 2p-electron capture decay of ^(179)Ta

(Part of abstract) A weak source of radioactive ^(179)Ta and two germanium detectors were used in the measurements. Data above the Kalpha_1 and Kalpha_2 peaks in coincidence with the L X-rays of hafnium show the spectra of bremsstrahlung photons due to radiative 2-p electron capture. The spectra were analysed using the nonrelativistic theory of radiative electron capture which was modified to take into account the real energies at resonance and widths of the resonance peaks.
