“Topologies, Borders, Identities ; On the Way to the Fourth World: Oscar Acosta Zeta, Richard Rodriguez, and Guillermo Gomez Pena”, Changing Cultures: Cultures of Change: University of Barcelona, 10-12 prosinac, 2009.
Using the examples of three Mexican-American authors (R. Rodriguez, O. Acosta Zeta and G. Gomez Pena)I explored each of their respective notions of hybridity: from Rodriguez's request for acculturation and a complete embracement of English as the official language of immigrants in the US, over Asocta Zeta's tolerance toward bilingualism all the way to the Gomez Pena concept of borderization of a territory as written in his study The New World Border
