We have reported serum chromogranin A and total PSA values in responders and nonresponders to both hormonal therapy and chemohormonal treatment using BPH subjects as controls... Insome nonresponders to Estracyt normal total PSA value together with F/TPSA well bellow 20 indicated contribution of an anaplastic tumor... In accordance with these preliminary data we advocate the CgA serotest assessment in candidates for hormonal therapy as well as during follow-up of pharmacological treatment.
