Application of corrective analytical differencing scheme to solving Navier-Stokes equation

The corrective analytical differencing (CADI) scheme, based upon the one-dimensional exact solution of the convection-diffusion equation with constant coefficients and the constant source term, is compared to the popular exponential differencing scheme (EDS) of Spalding. Both schemes are applied in solving Navier-Stokes and Euler equations by the finite volume method in body-fitted coordinates. A significant improvement of solution accuracy is obtained by applying the CADI scheme, because of reduced false diffusion.
