Investigation of Microstructural and Mechanical Characterizations of Alloys from Section with 90 at. % Cu in Ternary Cu-Al-Ag System

The results of microstructural and mechanical characteristics of some alloys in Cu-Al-Ag system are presented in this paper. Investigated alloys were chosen from Cu-rich corner of the ternary system, with 90 at% of copper. The samples were examined according to metallographic procedure using optical microscopy and SEM-EDX analysis, while standard procedures were used for microhardness measurements and hardness measurements by Vickers.
