Reform of the Law on General Administrative Procedures the Croatian Experience
After having described ex Yugoslav countries' experiences with general administrative procedure, its purpose and significance in protection of citizens' rights, the author shortly presents the phases of general administrative procedure reform in Croatia (stabilisation phase, europeanization phase, disenchantment phase). Europeanization, proposals of the Croatian law scientists and new public management doctrine are identified as reform triggers. The author lists goals of the reform, describes the main novelties in new legislation on general procedure, prerequisites for its succesfull implementation and possible obstacles.
