Machinability at High Speed Orthogonal Turn-Milling
The orthogonal turn-milling tends to replace turning as much as possible, because it has a lot of advantages in which the most important role belongs to higher productivity. Surface roughness is one of the basic machinability criteria. It also represents an advantage, especially in machining with high speed cutting. This article deals with the influence of some parameters on the surface roughness and also presents the mathematical model which describes this influence.
