Archaeological Institute of the Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, has recently established a conference series for junior researchers working on PhD thesis in archaeology. The conference aims to offer to doctoral candidates an opportunity to present and discuss their current individual research. The conference intends to promote an exchange of ideas belonging to various archaeological disciplines (Prehistoric, Classical, Roman Provincial, Early Christian, Medieval and Post-medieval), as well as of those belonging to the realm of archaeological sciences. Mentoring provided by a carefully selected professors of our Department ensures the best quality supervision for the attending doctoral students. The aim of this conference is to build new bridges between young archaeologists and to encourage them to present their work, exchange ideas and meet colleagues working in the related fields.
