The importance, role and marketing of the non-profit sector in an economy in transition
The purpose of this paper is to define the importance, role and marketing concepts for further promotion and development of the non-profit sector in an economy in transition. Three sectors ofthe economy: government, for-profit and non-profit are compared and existing marketing concepts in the developed democratic world and their applicability to the economics in transition is analysed.
