Croatia's Fast-Forward Foreign Policy: From Yugoslavia to the EU

The chapter describes the development of Croatian foreign policy since the break-up of Yugoslavia, during the process of gaining international recognition, during the war and efforts to complete the territorial reintegration of the country, and during the process of NATO and the EU accession. The chapter also looks into the perspectives for foreign policy development after Croatia joined the EU.
