Diversity of Approaches in Frank Capra's Comedies

The end term paper analyzes the works of Frank Capra and attempts to recognize his approaches and style as a director. It is focused on the main themes, characters, symbolism and mise-en-scene. The analysis includes few of his most notable films, specifically It Happened One Night, Arsenic and Old Lace, Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, You Can't Take It With You and It's a Wonderful Life. The aim of this paper is to attempt to find similarities in the films and point out the distinctive style that Frank Capra had.
