Physical Model of Discharge Structure at Rječina River near the Zvir Water Source

To study the spillway discharge capacity at the connection between Rječina River, and the discharge structure near the Zvir water source in city of Rijeka, a physical model of a segment of Rječina River, is constructed in the Laboratory for Hydraulic Engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Rijeka. The scale of a model is 1:20. The presentation will include the description of the model with the involved experimental apparatus, the plan for conducting the measurements and some preliminary results.
