Image Retrieval Based on Texture Features Extraction

This paper presents image retrieval system based on texture features extraction. Texture descriptors are extracted using Gabor filters with different scales and orientations. From the filtered outputs, two dominant texture features are identified and used for similarity image retrieval. The results of texture retrieval are presented and evaluated.
