Socio-economic development of the IMF and World Bank as a factor in the economic growth
At the end of Second World War, when it became increasingly clear that the war could not last much longer, there was a need for the creation of a new world economic system after the war ends, and particularly the creation of a new international financial order. In this regard, appropriate actions had been taken for the preparation for the meeting of the allied coalition, in attempt to find answers to several questions about the creation of a new world monetary system. To create a new world monetary system, a meeting was held by the leading people of the coalition in the small town of Bretton Woods in the USA, 1944. At that meeting two future strategies of the world economic system were presented. A modified strategy by known economist Keynes and White was accepted. Most of the accepted proposals were written by White. This is noteworthy, as it established the World Bank, which works closely with the International Monetary Fund to improve the economic development of countries, and especially for financing the reconstruction of destroyed countries after World War II.
