Preparation for replicating empirical study of a selection method for software reliability growth models

Software reliability is one of the most critical parts in software system quality. Achieving high reliability is not an easy task as the complexity of software is getting higher with every new release. One introduced way of estimating reliability are Software Reliability Growth Models (SRGMs). Empirical method for selecting SRGMs has been presented in case study using defect reports from system testing. The study has already been replicated in a different development environment than the original study. In our study, we systematised selection process and applied selection method on different data and with greater number of growth models.
